Comment shows anonymous user

Ganga Bopaiah February 20, 2017

My comment section at the bottom of an issue says " Anonymous added a comment - 2 hours ago"

Under the activity tab it says Anonymous commented. How do I know who commented?

You don't.  Anonymous means that the system could not identify a user.

so how do you prevent it? i don't want this happening to my future issues. This is important in few projects of mine when the transition is an approval and it becomes important to see who approved the ticket.

Change the mail handler so that it does not create email from accounts it does not know.  I'd also try making "reporter" a mandatory field in the project (that might be easier)
