We have multiple instances of atlassian within our company. Everyone has moved to a single corporate instance of JIRA, which does not include Confluence. We have other instances within our company that do include Confluence.
Is it possible in Confluence to write macros to filter and display Jira issues that are in a different instance?
Hello @Becky Stafford
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Are you asking about using a single instance of a Jira macro in Confluence to display issues from multiple Jira instance, or one instance of a Jira macro for each Jira instance?
Hi Trudy -
One instanced of JIRA macro for each JIRA instance. But, the Confluence is on a different Atlassian instance than JIRA is.
JIRA is on one URL (companyinstance1.atlassian.net),
Confluence is on a different URL (companyinstance234.atlassian.net)
Hope this makes sense.

You can create Application Links between Atlassian products even if they are different Cloud sites.
It is easiest to do if you have one person who has one account that is an Administrator for both instances. Otherwise another users who is an Administrator for the app on the other site has to make the reciprocal link.
