I created a team-managed Software project and want to customize my board.
On the board I see to the right of the last column instead of the plus button to add a column, a button with a wheel on it, which redirects me to the "Columns and statuses" page.
How can I change this button so that I can add a column directly to the board page?
Hi Erdal,
I don't see a button with a wheel on it. Would you mind sharing a screenshot? It would also be great to see the screen it redirects you to that you referred to as columns and statuses. Maybe this is a new feature that is rolling out. Assuming so I expect it may not be configurable.
Hi Jack,
You can see the wheel on the right side. The tooltip is "Configure columns"

Well scratching my head on this one just a bit. I do not see the “gear“ icon on any of my projects in that location. If you select configure columns what do you get? I created a new TMP SW project just to see if something has changed and it had not. Below is what I see.

When I click on "Configure column", the page changes to Project Settings / Columns and statuses. Here I also see the plus symbol for adding columns.
When I create a new project, I also have the plus symbol on the board as you described. But in this already existing project it's a gear symbol and I don't know where that comes from

I found out that if you add a new Step to your workflow that is linked to the project it will at the Step Name as a new column.
I don't know where this is documented.
