Create Story in Advanced Roadmaps links story to epic, but issue not visible in source project

When I create a new story under an epic in the Advanced Roadmap (source is a Jira software project) I see the new story under the epic, but no item number is assigned to the new story issue, nor can I see the issue in the source project.

How do I create a new issue in an Advanced Roadmap and have it show up in the source project, linked to the Epic as it should be? Is this possible? Not sure what I'm missing here....

Hi @Shaun McGuire,

Your advanced roadmaps plan acts as a sandbox environment. Everything you create or edit there can be undone - or pushed to Jira when you feel you are ready.

In the top right corner you should see a big blue review changes button. It opens a dialog with all the changes you made in your plan. Hit the Save Changes to Jira button there and your updates are synced to Jira.
