How would I create an automation from JIRA to update a specific page in Confluence in a specific place.
The idea is when a ticket is marked "done" (or other specific workflow steps), that the automation runs and adds that ticket's link into a specific part of the confluence page, depending on the status. (Sort of like a status update summary of all tickets).
Example
Confluence page
Tickets that are canceled:
ABC-123
ABC-223

ABC-331

Hello @Joel Polsky
Welcome to the community.
If your Confluence page is simply reporting on issue based on status, you don't need an Automation Rule to keep it up to date. You can simply add Jira macros to the page to list issues based on JQL filters of your design.
Thanks - this is working for me. Is there a way to have the links in the Jira Issue/Filter target a new tab/window? It currently just uses the same tab/window.

There is not a setting for that in either the macro or Confluence overall. I believe most, if not all, browsers have a method to set a default behavior to open clicked links in a new tab.
