Hello everyone,
I am trying to get a custom date/time (mostly time) field. However when I make one it gives the option to pick a time in 30 minute intervals. I am looking for a way to put an exact time in.
What exactly I am trying to do: I created a custom issue in the service desk for night calls. We would like to know exactly when the assignee was contacted. However 30 minutes is way too large of a gap. I know this can be filled in with a text spot but reporting would be a lot easier when dealing with time, not a string.
Hi Chris - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
What about creating a custom field for Date Time Picker. Then create a post function that sets the value when an action takes place (such as moving the card to a new status of Assignee Contacted or have a checkbox that when clicked would set the value - the latter would probably take an add-on to accomplish though).
I'll see if I can figure out the post function. Thanks for the tip!

Very good let me know if you need help with it. And if this answers your question, can you click on the Accept answer button above to close this one out? Thanks!

I created a post funtion to update a field and used %%CURRENT_DATETIME%% and it worked. Thanks for your help. This is even better than manually filling it in.
