Custom single select field with dynamic Issue values

I'm looking to install or create a single select field where I can have a dynamic list of issue references that can be selected based on a certain criteria (e.g. project = PROJECT AND type = IssueType). Ideally, this would function similarly to the Epic link field.

Jira Cloud doesn't natively offer a custom field for picking an issue. If you are open to using third party apps, explore the Atlassian Marketplace for apps that might satisfy your need.
