I have a CustomPeople field on the Bug Issue type as ResolvedBy. The data on this field is displayed in Search JQL result but not displayed in the two dimension gadget, it is displayed as "None" , Strangely, the similar JIRA people Field "Assignee" data is displayed in the Two dimension gadget.
I am using a next Gen Project.
Hi @Sapna Mogili ,
I don't think that 'People' custom field is supported. This document points out that " If choosing a custom field, please note that the following types of custom fields are supported by this gadget out-of-the-box: 'Group picker', 'Multi select', 'User picker', 'Select list' and 'Version picker'" (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/adding-the-two-dimensional-filter-statistics-gadget-720416991.html) The document is for Server and it hasn't been updated in a while but after doing some experimentation seems to be still the case.)
I just tried your use case and experienced the same thing you described. In the case of a NextGen project, if I use the 'People' custom field (I called it ResolvedBy, like in your example) in a two dimension gadget, the gadget thinks all the values are 'None', even though it's not the case. I tried the same thing in a classic project where I had created a 'User picker' custom field( I called it 'ResolvedByUserPicker') and I got the expected results.
Can you use a classic project, or does it have to be a next gen?
Thanks for the effort @Carlos Garcia Navarro , Looking to use the Next Gen project for the Roadmap feature it is providing. Will try the workaround Ste has also provided..

Hi @Carlos Garcia Navarro . I do use the Assignee to track the closure of the ticket which moves across the test lead and the developer. While the issue gets closed after retest, the assignee remains as the tester, hence, I am looking at the 'resolvedby' captured explicitly in the custom field.

That seems strange - I agree with @Carlos Garcia Navarro that the field shows as "None" on the dashboard - whether it is multi-user or single-user.
It looks like this is a known bug though for all gadgets - see JRACLOUD-72205. You can vote/follow it to track its progress.
In the meantime you might need to use another field to capture this data - such as a custom labels field, or a drop-down (which contains all possible team members' names).
