Delete / Deactivate JIRA User

I need to remove a user from JIRA.

I have JIRA Administrator permission, but not Site Administrator permission.

I can go to the Administration page by using the left side menu > Administration option

But I can't find the user management area on that screen to delete/deactivate users.

How can I Delete / Deactivate JIRA Users, Please advise, Thank you.

Hi Anupa - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Which version of Jira are you using? Cloud or Server? The Administration page you navigated to does not look like my page. You should see a list of users there and you should see an option for Groups under the Users menu option.

Thanks for the response.

This is JIRA Cloud and I think it's the latest since it's JIRA Cloud.

Actually, I can't go to the Site Administrator page since I don't have Site Administrator access. But I have JIRA Administrator permission.

According to the following article for users having Site Administrator or JIRA Administrator permission can Delete users.

Ah, yes, you would need Site Admin permissions to be able to see users and groups. You will need to have someone with those permissions add you to the site-admin group.
