Disable dragging of tickets in backlog view.

In the project everyone can move items up and down in Jira backlog . To control priorities in our backlog, can only project admin have these rights

Hi @Neeta Dubey,

Unfortunately, there is not a separate permission for reordering the backlog in Jira. To reorder tickets, a user needs the edit issues permission, so you could consider limiting that permission. But that would also disable a whole lot of other things a user might be required to do (like updating certain fields, changing the status of an issue, ...)

I’ve just read this article, can we do that?

Adding the a user to only the portfolio and not the program, restricts their ability to rank the backlog.
