Does the Sprint Report in Jira include items added after the sprint started for progress calculation

I would like to understand whether the progress calculation correctly reflects the items added during the execution of the sprint.

Does the report only take into account items that were present in the backlog at the time the sprint started, or does it also include items added after the sprint began?

The report includes issues that were added after the sprint was started. They will be marked with a * so that you can identify those issues.
