Encoding issues in site labels for automation (mails are also impacted)

Hi everyone,

I'm having a weird problem in production (and preproduction) with automation for Jira Cloud: characters are showing up as if there's an encoding error. The site is indexed in French but we didn't have any problems like this 2 weeks ago. The problem only exists within Automation.

If it was only an issue with site labels, it wouldn't be as upsetting as it is. The biggest problem is that mails that are sent to clients through automation in the production instance have garbage characters too.

We were experiencing an encoding issue which should now be resolved: AUT-2098 

If you are still experiencing issues can you please raise a support request so we can look into it further.

Hi,

I'm actually quite shocked, but these encoding errors are showing up on every single cloud site that is translated in French. 

What is happening?
