Our 5 IT teams are using Jira Software in one guise or another, but we are keen to ensure there is more of a consistent end to end process, right from project requests being received, to then being allocated and managed by different teams. Ideally then we would use the power of Advanced Roadmaps to provide a single source of truth.
Currently we have a Queue within Jira ITSM where requests come through - the management within Jira Software is then a separate process.
Any examples of how we can use this process seamlessly ?

That is a very abstract question with thousands of possible answers. If you need your staff to have a better understanding of how use Jira / Jira Software more effectively or in a particular manner, your best path is to have the staff attend training courses.
Or, hire someone with those skills and have them guide your staff in the appropriate manner.
