We are trying out Jira using the Free Version. I am trying to add more users but am told we have reached the maximum number of users for one of our products. I believe we are only using Jira. Can anyone advise what the problem might be?

Are you trying to give people licences for Jira Service Management? If so, that is limited to 3 users.

that was the issue but i really had not meant to be trialing JSM so i just removed that product and now no issues!
