I am using Jira-Slack integration to inform the channel whenever something has been released. It's done with the help of Jira automation:
I am thinking of getting it one step further and would also like to propagate the Description info for the specific release (Fix-version) to the Slack message:
Does anyone know if this is possible? And if yes, then how can I access the data?

Have you tried including this smart value in your Slack message:
