Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×My project (like most) has a ton of tickets in the backlog. I need to be able to filter them. I am not an admin so I cannot create a quick filter. Nor do I want to create a persistent filter. I simply want to filter the backlog.
The Issues view is insufficient. Those are not necessarily in priority order like the backlog is. Nor can I see them broken out into sprints like in the backlog view.
Hi @John Kramer ,
If using quick filters on the board is not an option I would suggest creating a filter containing all tickets from the backlog and order by either rank or priority and put the filter results on your personal dashboard.
You only need to be board admin of the specific board you're using to be able to manage quick filters (which in my opinion is the best option for this) so maybe you should buy the site admin some flowers and ask nicely to be granted board admin privileges :)
