How can I see the work and the worklog of a deleted user

Hi

I have revoked the access for some users in the system (suspend access function). After this action, I can not see anymore their work as I can not include them in a JQL query. So I can not list for example what issues they opened, or what issues are assigned. Another problem is their worklog. The worklogAuthor JQL is not working (no user found). At the moment I'm using the free app "Timesheet Tracking for Jira", and unable to see there as well their worklogs. It looks to me the information is lost...

Is there a way to report deleted users issues, worklogs etc?

For JQL queries against user picker fields like Assignee or Reporter I find that entering the user's login name in quotes works. For instance in my instance our work email addresses are our login names. If I use

Assignee=<user login>

...and enter the work email address of a former employee, I get the right results.
