How do I filter by users' role?

I find it absurd that I couldn't create a filter using user's role. Any ways we can do this via native JQL or a free plugin?

Hi @Jeff Boon ,

unfortunately you can't do that using builtin features. There's a request for that https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-21711

Please vote and watch it in order to keep you updated.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

If that's the case, may I know is there any other way for me to filter issues created by a "group" of users?

Hi @Jeff Boon ,

you can use memberof("group_name_here"). For example :

assignee in memberOf("jira-administrators")
