Our users would like to be able to remove the Epic Link field/column from their existing filters since it no longer shows a value (due to the Parent field rollout).
Does anyone know what Atlassian's next steps are for this (and timing) or a workaround? I assume re-creating the filter is one workaround, but that can have a large impact to our productivity that day.
Thanks!
Hi @Erin Quick-Laughlin , can you please try this again? We have rolled out a change to enable the Epic Link field so you can remove them from your list of columns.
Thanks!
Yes it works now - we can remove the Epic Link - thanks!

Other note from our users since the Parent field was implemented:
"I do wish the new Parent field, when linked to an epic, would still display the color associated with the epic instead of just the purple epic icon. It would make it much easier to quickly consume the information"

This issue seems to be back. I can't remove Epic Link from Columns after selecting to restore defaults.

Same here. It is annoying since I want to create filters that members of my teams can subscribe to, but the column will not go away.

Is there a resolution to this? This is affecting all my filters

HI folks,
May I suggest switching to the new Filters/Search experience, where it is possible to unselect this field
