How do you create a dashboard gadget for displaying open, in progress, and completed tasks?

I am surprised that in JIRA project from the Project Management area, not a sprint, I can't find a gadget to display all open tasks, all tasks that are in progress, and then tasks that are labeled as done or completed... I have tried the created vs resolved gadget and that does not work even with tasks marked as done. Any help here would be appreciated, Thanx!

You can use pie chart or issue statistics gadgets and choose statistic type as status. so you can see all the tickets of their respective status

Hi Douglas,

I would create a filter that shows all of the issues in your project - something like: Project = ABC

Save and share that with anyone that needs to see the data in the dashboard.

Then create a dashboard and use the Issue Statistics gadget. Use Status for the Issue Statistic. 

That should get you want you need.
