How to add custom field permissions on Team Managed?

We have few team managed projects where we would like to add permissions on custom fields.

Team-managed projects doesn't allow you to set field permissions, and in order to do it in company-managed projects you would have to use an app for it, like Protected Fields or Secure custom fields.

Thank you for your response. For Company managed projects how we can set permissions on Label based custom fields? I checked above apps but they are not supporting label custom fields.

If they do not support label fields, you are sort of out of luck. I would reach out to the app vendors and see if they have any plans on supporting label fields.
