How to change epic for a story that is Done?

In team-managed the only option to assign an epic is to drag it to one from the backlog page. But that won't work for a story that is Done.

Also, how to get JQL results to display the epic name. Or, for team managed, even the epic ID (much less helpful).

Thanks.

In the Issue Details view of a Done issue, you should still see the Add Epic option in the breadcrumbs for the issue. Use that to add a completed issue to an epic.

Regarding your second question, for Team Managed projects, to get the parent Epic Name to display for an issue in JQL results you need to add the Parent column to the output.

Thank you Trudy. I finally saw that (I wish I'd been notified of your reply first), but the dropdown menu was confusing for a bit. Now I see that the list shows recently used items. After first seeing this I started using  remove and add...a pain. Atlassian could somehow make it more obvious that hovering on the parent epic in the breadcrumbs will open an edit option.
