How to change status of an issue from board mini view

I would like to change the status of the below issue without opening in a new window or by choosing "more actions" from options. 

Wondering if there is a way to make the status field editable where I can pick the next desired status from the drop down.

Current Workflow:

1. Dev In progress 

2. Ready For QA

3. QA In Progress

4. Ready For UAT

5. UAT In Progress

6. Ready For Release

7. Done

Welcome to the community!

I do not know how you can make that field editable, but how about a work-around:

Press the period key "." to pop-up shortcuts, and then start typing the name of the target status (e.g. UAT), and when it appears in the type-ahead search, press enter to select.
