How to configure Jira Analytics Flow Metrics to use values from a field other than Jira Issues Type

Our distribution of work is captured in a field that is not the Jira Issue type.
How can I configure a dashboard created from the Jira Analytics Flow Metrics template to use values from a different field for the flow work item type?

Hi @David Watson and welcome to the Community!

You will have to create your own queries and charts to get to the desired results (or investigate if there isn't an option to use issue types as your work types, as that is what they are intended for).

You cannot change the template, but you can use it as a basis for your own, custom reporting. This support article on creating/copying a dashboard may be a good starting point, as well as this one on understanding the Atlassian Data Lake.
