Hi!
I want to copy the Original Estimate field into the Remaining Estimate field.
I made an automation like this: {{Original estimate}}.
But it was returning an extremely big number.
So, a changed to {{#=}}{{Original estimate}} / 3600{{/}}, and it broke.
Now, I made as the picture below, but it's not working.
Am I thinking right? What can I do?
Generally the field Remaining Estimate start with Original Estimate value. Remaining Estimate makes part of Time Tracking field. So, when you set 5h to Original Estimate your Remaining Estimate field is automatically filled with the same value until you make some log in your issue.
Considering this, I didn't understood your the concept behind your automation rule. If you would give more details, maybe we can find some solution together.
Hope hear you soon.
Regards,
Fernando
I didn't realize it!
So my question is different now. When I complete the field "Time Spent", it discounts in "Remaining Estimate".
Can I copy the "Original Estimate" in "Time Spent"?
My goal is, everytime that a subtask leaves the status "Doing", I don't want my dev team completing the field "Time Spent".
I want that this is automatized.

Yeah, when you complete Time Spent field is automatically disccounted of Remaining Estimate field.
If you want to make your log work automatically, I recommend you use some automation rule to log work. Just need to consider your business rules.
