How to disassociate a project from a workflow scheme?

Antonio Ardila March 9, 2020

My question is: how do we disassociate a project from the workflow scheme without having to create a brand new scheme?

Hi,

Check out these documentation pages: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-workflow-schemes-776636598.html

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-your-workflows-776636587.html

You'll need to associate a different workflow to the project after you disassociate the current one because a Jira project must always be associated with a workflow scheme, since all issues must move through a workflow. To disassociate a custom workflow scheme from a project, you can associate that project to the default workflow scheme instead.

Hope that helps.
