How to export the configuration settings on individual projects?

Hi Community,

We are trying to find a way to export the configuaration settings on certain projects for our instance to compare differences between our high performing teams.

Is there a simple easy way to export these, we don't require the issues and their fields, just the workflows, board type, issue types, field types, etc....

Any help would be much appreciated :P

Addam.

Hello @Adam Abrahams ,

First of all, i don't understand how you know high performing team just looking at the project configurations.

As far as I know, for the cloud by default, you can export all the data (including issues, fields, etc)

If you really want to export only configurations then you need to look at the available add-ons for Jira cloud.

The link provided by @Nicolas Grossi is helpful when you want to import and export data using CSV, JSON etc

Thank you

I'm not sure comparing configurations is going to enable you to compare high-performing teams with others.

A high-performing team will be using a scrum or kanban board to organise their work, with some good estimation process for sprint planning in scrum teams (no estimation in Kanban), a minimal set of fields, no templates or default field values, and so-on.
