Hello
I'm wondering if that's possible to hide content from Jira admin ?
I have a Jira instance in cloud.
I want to invite someone to fix and enhance flow and fields. but I don't want him to see content itself as it contains secrets and business data.
It actually contains data about hourly rates and monthly working hours of our employees.
Is that possible to hide it somehow ?
We have it in cloud but we can move to self-hosted (Server) if that's necessary
Please advice
Thank you
You can't do this.
You could, sort of - if you do not grant the administrator account permissions in the projects, they'll be able to admin the projects and not see your data.
But that would stop them from testing or checking their admin work, and it's a doddle for an admin to grant themselves access to the data.
Completely agree with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- .
@Mosh , If you are looking for a troubleshooting and concerned about data not being manipulated or copied, I would rather go for a screens share call than inviting some one to my jira account with admin access.
