How to highlight a row in JIRA Plans based on column property

Jens Wachtel January 23, 2023

Hi,

Looking at JIRA Plans and the Timeline view.

Is there a way to color highlight a row based on a property? Let's say when status equals XZY?

Thanks,

Jens

Hi @Jens Wachtel and welcome to the Community!

Depends what you mean. Entire rows are highlighted in light yellow when there is a warning related to the schedule. This is based on predefined rules in the warning center. You can just toggle them on or off:

In view settings you can decide to color the displayed roadmap bars by different criteria. Status is one of them, but that just inherits the standard colors used for status categories (to do | grey - in progress | blue - done | greem).

By choosing a field with dynamic options, you can in fact define your own colors for selected options, as I did here for e.g. issue types:

Hope this helps!
