Hi brains trust
Description field is a standard field and somehow in one of my Classic Business Project boards, after I create a new JIRA card with text in the Description field, I can no longer edit the contents. The same type of Description field is still editable when in other Classic Business Projects.
Appreciate any tips.
Thanks.
Hi @Delicia Tan - Kindly check if the description field is available on the edit screen.

Yes it's the same screen. I have the Description field in Create also.

Do you see this issue in all the browsers? Chrome? If so, then check the field configuration of the project, if description in the field configuration contains any html/javascript?

Edge also doesn't let me edit the Description field. I tried to bulk edit through the Filters but it doesn't even do anything.

Delicia,
For the project that the description field is no longer editable go to the project settings > screens. Make sure that the default screen for edit issue contains description. You can do this by clicking on the screen associated with edit. You might have multiple screens for edit depending on how many screen schemes you have associated with different issue types.
