How to make the subtasks inherit the parents Component?

I do some filtering using Components.  I want all subtasks to inherit the parent Component tag.

Here is what I tried and it didn't work.

Hi @Tim Cooley (TMNA) ,

When you select the action Edit issue fields -> Pick up components and use the three dots -> copy and be sure that parent issue is selected
