How to manage Xray Test Environments using API

Hiep Vu November 6, 2022

Hi all,

I am currently using Xray Cloud to import execution but have problems with automatically import execution with new test environments. Is there any solutions for me in this case? I tried to use the request generated when I click button “create Test Environments” in the site’s UI, but it return "error": "Authentication request has expired. Try reloading the page." Hope you can help as soon as possible.

Thank you and have a good day,

Vu Hoang Hiep

Hi @Hiep Vu Hoang and welcome to the community,

there was a similar post lately:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Xray-throw-error-message-quot-Authorization-request-has-expired/qaq-p/2169619#U2184114

Could you create a test environment in the meantime? Or does this issue/error still occur?

I´m afraid (as far as I know) the xray api doesn´t provide functionality of creating test environments (couldn´t find any endpoint in the documentation). The import test execution allows to add existing test environment to the imported test exectution.

Best
Stefan
