Howto Create a Formula on Number Field

Hello The Community,

On my Jira Software (Cloud) i would like to create an customer field "Epic Story Point" which will take the sum of the story points linked to the epic.

In my Select of Field Type i don't have " Calculated Number Field" and i think i have to add an plugin, there is an solution without plugin ? or there is a free plugin for this ?

Do you use Confluence or work strictly in Jira?

The case is we have the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app that works with the Jira Issues macro perfectly well and helps to calculate, aggregate and visualize data.

Here we have an example how to get the sum of story points for every sprint regarding  statuses.

If you want to work exclusively in Jira, you can try our Jira cloud app Dynamic Fields for Jira.

With "Dynamic Fields" you can create a field that dynamically adds up the story points of all stories of an epic. Of course you can use that data for your statistics.

We offer a lot of templates for standard use cases, but it's also possible to create your own custom fields.
