I have mistakenly created ticket in task issue Type and want to change issue type to Epic.

In team management project, I have mistakenly created ticket in task issue Type and want to change issue type to Epic.

there are nearly 54 ticket that i want to change the issue Type. i have tried in many ways but i was not able to do that.

Hi @Harish - Please follow the below steps:

  • Go to Filters >> View all issues and search for issues to move
  • Select the options button (3 dots in top-right corner) > Bulk Change...
  • Select the issues you'd like to perform the bulk operation on, and click Next.
  • Select Move Issues, and click Next
  • Select the target issue type and click Next
  • Click Next and then Confirm

Hi @Harish 

 

You could try to bulk edit them form the search that return the 54 tickets. Then select Move action then change issue type to Epic. You should be prompt to set a Epic Name, once done it will update the type of the task and set the Epic Name. You will need to update the Epic Name using CSV import then.
