I need to group the bug subtasks by Story

Hi,

As part of the dashboard, I would to extract the number of bugs under each story.We used to create the story bugs as a bug task under the story. So All the bugs will be mapped  under the story as parent.

When I filter all the bugs of specific duration(sprint) , I am not able to group by its parent(Parent) as parent system field is not appearing in issue statistics or pie chart gadget as a grouping entity.

Do we have any option to bring the system field parent inside the issue statistics or pie chart or do we have any mechanism to automatically copy the parent field to a customized field so that I can  group with that custom field.

You can achieve this in a Kanban or Scrum project, by going to the Board Settings => Swimlanes and basing your Swimlanes on "Stories".

Thanks Guilhem. I was looking to show that in the dashboard as all other KPI was able to build in the dashboard.
