I want to switch from Jira standard plan to premium, can I have one month trial first?

We are using Jira standard Plan. I want to use Advanced Roadmaps that comes only with premium. Since Advanced Roadmaps is new to my organisation I want the option to revert to Standard plan any day if we want to. Also I would like a trial for 1 Month to see if we like it

Yes. In fact you likely will get more than 30d. For example if I were to upgrade today it would be 52d due to my billing cycle. If you go to admin > billing > manage subscriptions and select change plans for Jira then select Premium you will be presented with the term.

Thanks for your answer Jack, much appreciated. I guess that we are on a Monthly payment schedule, just checked that in billing information. Can we return to standard plan whenever we want?

yes. it will happen on monthly billing cycle. so if you switch back to standard mid month then you will be charged for standard at the next billing cycle.
