Image Copy & Paste not working

We recently switched instances of Jira Software (Cloud) and the extremely convenient copy/paste image functionality is not working in the new instance. This has been tried in both Firefox and Chrome with and without incognito mode.

All I get is a small empty rectangle, and when I save and reload it appears like it thinks there's an image there, but it's always blank.

Is this a recent bug with Jira Software Cloud, or is there some back-end setting required to enable copying and pasting of images (and the underlying automatic uploading mechanism, which I suspect is where things are failing)?

This is a HUGE time waster, since now the only way to get an image in is to save it as a file and manually upload it.

Hello @JAnderson it looks like a bug on your Jira environment. I use cloud and that functionality hasn't failed me.

I would report this as a ticket to Atlassian because it's no the expected behavior

Thanks Hernan. I narrowed it down, it seems to be specifically from Outlook (which at the time wasn't obvious).

Yes, my copy and paste absolutely does not work most of the time. Terrible user experience.
