We would like to setup a system for linking Github updates to JIRA tickets that are targeted by these updates.

# When your GitHub or GitHub Enterprise account is linked to Jira Software, your team gets to see their branches, commit messages and pull requests right in the context of the Jira Software issues they're working on.
# Developers and engineers will have to briefed about this change.
# Developers and engineers will have to ensure that they are setup to make sure changes are propagated between two apps (Git and Jira)

We have partnered with GitHub to build a new and improved integration, and this replaces the DVCS connector in Jira's system settings. Now, new integrations must be set up using their app on the Atlassian Marketplace.

In case you need help or have any further questions about the app, you can contact the GitHub team, as they have expertise on it.
