Import issues from Google sheets

Alisson Ayres September 13, 2023

Is it possible to import new issues from Google Sheets directly into a project in Jira?

I couldn't find this information anywhere.

Hi @Alisson Ayres and welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately this is an idea that is still waiting for the Atlassian Team to implement it for us. You can vote for it here though: API-86

Here's an article with what the integration can do and what is on the roadmap for the future is at the bottom: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Try-the-new-Jira-Cloud-add-on-for-Google-Sheets/ba-p/1016436

@Alisson Ayres Late to the party, I know but you can absolutely connect Google Sheets and Jira right now with a third-party platform, like Unito. I wrote this guide on how to connect Google Sheets and Jira with a 2-way flow that can be set up in around 15 minutes. Once your flow is launched, you can either populate a sheet with Jira issue data, create new issues in Jira based on your row data, or both simultaneously. Also, any manual changes you make will update in the other tool automatically.

It's not free, but Unito comes with a 14-day free trial. Let me know if you have any questions or need help getting set up!
