Inconsistency in linking Jira issues using google/release-please in Github

We are encountering inconsistency in including Jira links within our release notes. We use google/release-please in Github. Although google/release-please successfully generates the notes, not all commits are consistently linked to their corresponding Jira issues. We want every commit linked to its respective Jira issue within GitHub, and we expect this information to be reflected in the .MD file produced by Release Please.

Has anyone experienced this problem and solved it?

Hi @Paige Wood , that sounds like a question for the team that built "release-please". Did you try to open a bug report in the Github project?
