Inheritance from Epic to Task/bug/story created in and under the EPIC does not work

Created various rules, only one is active, the automation rule is displayed in the screenshot.

The rule does not copy the customized fields (which JIRA allows me to select)  from the EPIC to Tasks/bugs/stories when I create them under any EPIC, I have tried to created various tasks/bugs/stories under the Epics with the "creat issue in epic button".

1. is the automation lacking a connection to the EPIC

2. The task when created does shoe the EPIC NAME

3. There is not PARENT-CHILDCapture automation.JPGCapture 2 automation.JPG defined in the EPIC nor in the Task/bug/story.

Hi @eleanor kerman ,

can you please show what is in the Action "Edit Issue" in your rule ?

Also, I think some of your conditions are not correct : you should check for "Epic Link" and not "Epic Name".

Can you replace these 2 conditions and try again ?

Thanks,
