Installing Jira Version 8.7.1 on new Windows Server

I am installing a new version of Jira Software 8.7.1 on a Windows 2019 Server - VM.

Once reaching the point where the database information is entered along with the password, the browser blanks out and remains in that state.

The http://localhost:8080/secure/errors.jsp  page remains blank and there is nothing happening to further the installation.  We don't get to the Jira Application Properties.

Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution to get past this point?

A first step to figure out what went wrong would probably be to have a look at the log file that was generated when the blank page issue occurred.

Unfortunately, it is not easy to say what the case it without having a look on the log files.
