Is it possible to add an Add Comment field to the Log Work screen

Since the Comment field on the Log Work screen has been replaced with Work Description, which is only visible on the Work Log tab, I've had requests to append an Add Comment field to the Log Work screen. Is this possible?

Not with out some development effort. If you using Cloud JIRA, that is not an option I'm afraid!
