I’m trying to automatically create a Sub-Test Execution Xray ticket as a subtask of a trigger Jira issue, when that trigger issue moves into a certain status.
Is it possible to use the GraphQL API to help accomplish this? I can see Xray’s GraphQL documentation for createTestExecution, but I don’t see a mutation available for createSubTestExecution. Is it possible to modify the createTestExecution mutation so that it creates a Sub-Test Execution instead? https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/doc/graphql/createtestexecution.doc.html
Is it possible to use Jira automation to automatically create Sub-Test Execution Xray tickets by sending an HTTP request to the Xray REST API? I can see a number of examples on this page for sending a web request to the Xray API in Jira Automation, so I’d like to know if it’s possible to use this method to simply create a Sub-Test Execution Xray ticket.
Also, I’ve seen Xray’s documentation for importing tests in REST v2, and want to know if importing tests is the same as creating them? If not, can you help clarify the difference for me? https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Importing+Tests+-+REST+v2
