Is the Roadmap for the Classic Software Project supposed to automatically pull data from the project

I have enabled the (beta) roadmap in my classic software project, and it's empty. Isn't it supposed to pull data from the current sprint (at least)? Tx!

Yes, it pulls all data from epics, stories and tasks automatically. Do you have any epics on your software project?

Yes, lots. But I still see nothing on the roadmap. What am I missing? I also disabled and enabled the roadmap again.
