I am currently configuring a project where once a ticket is closed, I want a specific set of fields to be visible. From what I can see, using the new issue layout, I cannot change the specific fields visible on ticket Creation, View and Resolve.
In an ideal state, when the ticket is moved into a Resolution status, I'd like specific custom fields to be visible vs the default ones set accross the whole project.
Am I missing something here? I can't seem to assosciate the "Resolved" operation with a screen which seems super counter-intuative.
Hi @Nick P
When you resolve the issue which is I guess a status in your workflow you need to associate a transition screen to capture the information you want user to fill. The issue operations - create, edit and view are different from workflow transitions.
So if I understand correctly (you can confirm) you need to modify your workflow transition that goes from STATEX -> RESOLVE and attach a transition screen to this transition.
I hope it helps.

Thanks for the response. The use case here is a Resource Request project in JIRA that people send requests to departments for Human Resources. Once resources are assigned by a department, they can Enter the names of the resources added and comment on the ticket advising the requester it's done.
In ideal state I'd like it if the Department closed the ticket (Resolved) and when they do that, it shows a screen with the following fields:
- Resolution (Done, Wont do, Cancelled etc),
- Resources Provided (Custom Field that is a user-picker field type)
- % Capacity Provided (Custom field that is a number field type)
