We are using Issue Checklist free on our projects. If I am creating now a template with the Jira Issue Template and load a Checklist in the template repository project and then create an issue within another project (both have Issue checklist enabled) the checklist is not copied.
Is there a way to copy the checklist, as this would be a real time saver.
Hi @Priska Maurer,
I don't exactly understand your steps.
However, I can see that you are using the templates plugin by Intenso. In that case, the template should contain a checklist in the custom field: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1240760326/Checklist+Text+custom+field
You must also enable custom fields integration in Checklist: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/907542582/Disable+Enable+custom+fields+integration
Every issue created with the content in the linked custom field will get a checklist automatically.
Let us know if that helps.
Cheers,
Jack
Thanks for your answer. If I enable the custom fields integration though, then the Multiple Checklist Option cannot be used anymore.
So if I would do that, I need to have one as generic as possible checklist, right?
I can not define several Checklist Text as far as I understood.
Many thanx for your help
Priska

That's right. You can use "headers" in single checklist.
But it will change soon. We are working on compatibility between Multiple Checklist and Custom fields integration.
So, for now, you need to pick the most useful feature and wait for the full integration a few more weeks.
Thanks,
Jack

Thank you so much for the information. Looking forward for the integration.
For now, we will probably live with it, that the checklists are not copied, and write the important points into the templates.

Hi,
We saved several Templates, each having different checklist. When we create a new task by retrieving one of the saved Templates, the checklist don't appear.
Is that how it is designed for now?
Advice would be appreciated

Hi @Chongsu Lee,
If the question is related to the Issue Checklist plugin, please contact our support at support(at)herocoders(dot)com. We will need more information to understand your case.
Cheers,

As an alternative, you can try BPM (Business Process Manager) developed by my team.
It allows creating process templates with steps that include checklists, forms, instructions ext. When the process is turned on, this app creates new Jira issues with different forms configured before (including checklists) and assigns tasks to the assignee you need.
I hope, it will help
