Hello everyone,
I need to create some actions for a rule when the issue is created with a condition of specific Epic link-when the story matches the epic link it will edit the summary and description. But, I am not able to provide the name of epic link in “Epic Link” field condition-the error is no matches found. But, no errors when I choose “Epic link” (note the lower case L). The story as such contains Epic Link (E and L upper case). Still the rule does not work. If k see the error log, it says could not find your configured field. Any inputs appreciated!!
note: GSDM-#### Name of the epic link
The input that I am giving is “Name of the epic link”
Thanks
Hello @JunoB
Rewrite your rule
Trigger: Create an issue
Condition: Related issues condition Epic (This will compare the Epic parent of the story that triggered this rule) and add the desired JQL
BR, Olga
Thank you, Olga. It did not work. But I was able to specify an if condition with JQL and it worked! Thanks for your inputs!
Another question-how to delete the automatic comment populated due to another rule running?now I can see two comments-one due to another rule and one due to the new rule.

Glad to hear, just to check when you create the issue do you associate it with Epic using an epic link or standard issue linking? If you use the linked issue the rule I wrote won't work, but if you use the epic link it should I tested it myself.

@Olga Videc The issue landing in our project will have an epic link already added during creation.instead of using related issues condition, I did a jql search with the epic link.
