Issue with automatic resolution status

Hi,

I have a project managed by the entreprise.

When the ticket status is changed to abandonned, the automatic resolution status is not put as done.

Any idea please ?

What do you mean by "resolution status"? 

The resolution or the status?  Or the status category?  (These are all different things, and resolution and status do not actually have any technical relationship, you have to think of them both independently)

Ok, so with resolution, you have to deal with it in the workflow.

  • On any transition that goes from an "open" status to a "closed" status, do one of these two things (never both)
    • Add a post-function that adds a resolution
    • Add a transition screen that includes the resolution screen
  • On any transition that "re-opens" an issue
    • Add a post-function that updates (clears) the resolution
    • (A lot of us put the clear post function on all transitions that go into an open status, so that admins who edit the workflows later don't miss it and Atlassian do it by default in some of their default workflows)
