×Hi,
I am using JIRA cloud license, basic(10 users) and just to understand, is it recommended to use one license as a support for all the Projects, where client's are also an user:
Scenario:
Licences are not related to projects. Each licence seat allows one person to be active on the service.
Sharing an account means you can't track people's activity and technically breaches your licence agreement.
Hi Nic,
Thanks a lot. Is there any limitation that through a single user licence, multiple people cant log in at the same time for a JIRA Cloud Instance?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
the limitation is that you can't track them, so it makes the use of an issue tracker pretty pointless.

Hi Nic,
We can use a separate field for each case to track the owners for each issue. Point is, if we connect at the same time, with a single user, will it throw some login error. Just came to know from one of the Gold Partner, that it throws error.
Could you please confirm on the same?

That will not really help you track, as it's not recording a user or their activity, just some arbitrary tag.
You can log in many times, you just lose all your tracking.
